Eli’s wide musical experience paired alongside his study with world-class musicians has allowed him to form a unique voice in the world of jazz, which can be described as expressive, passionate, and genuine. His compositions are thoughtful and evocative, exhibiting a distinctive sound that is uniquely his.

Since moving to New York City, Eli has created, performed and recorded with his own group, the “Eli Goldstein Quintet”. He also became a member of multiple ensembles, performing in some of New York Cities most prestigious jazz venues. As a soloist, he has been featured on the Downbeat award-winning recording of “Three Women”, composed by Eliana Fishbeyn.

He also is active in other genres, playing at Central Park Summer Stage with indie pop singer Goldie Scott, touring nationally with film scoring orchestras, performing in musical pits, and playing with “The Villagers Brass Band”, a New Orleans style brass ensemble.

Eli has been awarded his master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with influential trumpeters Scott Wendholt and Ingrid Jensen.
